CoinsAndChips.com was created to provide an on-line service for buyers of collectible and/or investment-grade coins as well as casino chips of all kinds.

We have primarily been collectors ourselves, acquiring predominantly American collectible coins since the 1960s and casino chips beginning some twenty years later. We are proud of our experience and professionalism and we are dedicated to treating people with courtesy and fairness, as we would wish to be treated ourselves.

We believe in honest grading. Our many satisfied customers agree. However, if you are unhappy with a purchase, we have a return policy and we will refund the price of any chip or coin we sell within two weeks of purchase, no questions asked. Shipping costs, if any, are not refundable.

Most of the chips we offer are from casinos that have closed or the chips are no longer in use. We believe these offer the best potential for appreciation. Paul Backalenick is the Principal at CoinsAndChips.com. He has been acquiring rare coins and casino chips for over 50 years. An enthusiastic numismatist, he began collecting circulated coins during his childhood in Westport, Connecticut. Back then, he supplemented these with coins that his grandparents collected in Providence, Rhode Island. Over the years, he recognized the value of certification and early on began purchasing certified coins whenever he found quality material at a fair price. In his casino chip inventory, many items were personally acquired at the casinos. And as many of these casinos have since gone out of business, he offers a large number of obsolete chips for sale.
